We're reading Neil Sheehan's A Bright Shining Lie, and it reminded us of this term, once of immense weight in our culture but now verging on becoming one of those historical obscurities like "carpet bagger" or "roundhead" that we need historians to teach us the meaning of.

(By the way, roundhead.com is also wasted. Go figure.)
